As a former '06 Si owner, the FR-S is slightly quicker. FR-S is not as rev happy as the Si, (to me) exhaust on FR-S sounds better. No notchy clutch engagement (thanks to Honda's craptastic 3rd gear synchros). Unlike the Si, the FR-s is missing a OEM sub woofer, In inclement weather the Si handles like it's likely to get you killed. The FR-S shares it's body with the GT86 and BRZ which is a lot cooler than sharing its body with the grandma Civics (good for sleeper but who wants their car's exterior to be nearly identical to the 143HP little old lady version). One thing the Si has over they twins is that their forums (like 8thCivic.com) isn't full of whiners that scour for and magnify/harp on every miniscule imperfection (real or imagined) as if its the end of the world.
What's great about the twins is that there are so few of them out there everybody thinks they cost more than they really do (and are faster than they really are) whereas with a Si the lay person thinks it's just another weak econobox (ditto for Rabbit/Golf and the GTi).
Luckily the FR-S' OEM foglights are not made of easily cracked paper thin glass. The FR-S' seats are firmer and hold you in, they'd be perfect if they were alcantara like the Si.
