Well thank you for everybody who actually tried to help me out here. I really appreciate it. Luckily I had my phone within reach so I could start recording shortly after. So if it's just the evap system then the car should be fine. Thank goodness!!!!! Huge sigh of relief.

Well at least you didn't get the standard "it's a write off" or "I'll take off your hands" posts!
In fairness there is nothing wrong with saying to read the manual as it
is in fact there (you just have to read the whole thing to find it) or a harmless joke
after the issue has been resolved (made one or two myself).
