Just leased a 2015 Firestorm Scion FR-S Manual last week with the following options:
  • Rear Lip Spoiler
  • LED Accent Lighting
  • BeSpoke Premium Audio
  • Scion Premium Security
  • Rear Cargo Mat
  • Connectivity Kit
  • Vehicle Protection Premium Package
My initial impression is that this is probably the best handling street car I've ever driven, even while driving at sensible speeds to break the car in. The suspension is far more compliant and comfortable than I expected, and yet the front end is so sharp, responsive, and composed that it's much closer in feel to a racing car than another other street cars I've driven before, including a Corvette C6 and a Ferrari F430 Scuderia. My FR-S came with the Michelin Primacy HP tires, so I can't imagine what it feels like with even better rubber. The short throw shifter and narrow shift gates are also reminiscent of old racing gearboxes. The driving position is just about perfect, and the seat is very supportive and comfy as well.

The only issues so far are mostly cosmetic as far as I can tell. There's quite a bit of scratches on the paint at many places when observing under lights at certain angles. I'm guessing that was done by the guy applying the paint sealant at the port. There's a also a small but noticeable chip on the dash panel for some reason. I also don't think the navigation is working quite right. The BeSpoke Premium Audio was supposed to be installed at the port, but the salesman told me that they ran out of the unit at the port, so the car came in with standard audio, and it was swapped out at the dealer with another car that had the premium audio (I forgot to ask him whether that other car is MY14 or MY15).

All in all, quite pleased with the car so far. I really look forward to driving this car for the next 3 years.
