Cruising at 3000rpm (around 120km/u in a MT in 6th gear) the exhaust is noticeable (not loud, you just know it's there) and could become irritating for passengers on a long drive.

Yup, that's pretty much exactly how it is with me too now
Although i think if i'd change out the frontpipe it might get taht tad little too loud so i don't know if i should risk it over time... Only thing i might change over time is the overpipe, just to clean it up a bit under there & to get rid of the restriction of the stock one
