My 1990 Celica GTS averaged 9L/100 on regular on its last tank. Mostly city driving so a bit better than the EPA(adjusted) value of 11.8 city/9.0 highway. I figure the manual FRZ on premium will be about the same cost as my current car on regular. The interesting part is, based on the EPA numbers, the better fuel economy of the automatic would take years to pay off the cost of the automatic!
We need more real world fuel consumption results to best understand what this cars fuel consumption will be like? Hopefully early owners will start to share.
