New to the forum...just bought my FR-s in September with the complete plan of parking it for the winter.
I am a Journeyman Mechanic that recommends service the fluids then fuel up with a premium fuel. If you can, take it for a rip once a month to keep the lubes covering what they should and of course to just drive it.
Bought the car to replace one that was written off...not by myself. I kept all new and existing drivers going till now. There is just one teen driver left. This was for me..........and the missus. for when we wanted to get away. Have the minivan for groups. the 4x4 for working and inclement weather. I feel these cars would be a blast in winter as I grew up driving rear wheel drive on Canadian prairies. Smaller wheels with a higher profile grip tire would be better but I think you would still need to pick your battles snowfall wise. It's all about what can be done and personal choice.
