Never been an audiophile (I still have some 8 tracks for crying out load) but my son in law will rave about his expensive cables and get really pissed when I honestly say I can hear no difference.
I was really referring to this forum. At least the 200 post debate about proper tire pressure included some attempts to support their arguments beyond "I can just tell" or "at my school".

Ha...I've read thousands of posts over at head-fi.org taking about huge assortments of wires, cables, whether carpet, tile, or wood flooring is better for soundstage and accuracy, and people shaving their head bald for a greater experience. For me, my Galaxy S4 and Sennheiser Momentum headphones are good enough
