If it really does come down to the battery you can always disconnect your 1.5 conversion and run a bigger starter battery. This is what I did last year.... Its weird because @
Bu-Tang has been using the little battery and hasn't had any problems yet.
I'm pretty sure it started in below -10C which is colder than what you guys would experience.
I'll let butang chime in to see if he has been having trouble.
