carma143, what you're experiencing is expected in the executive, law, medical or small business ownership worlds. Should you desire, qualify for and land employment in one of those hyper-competitive careers, what you described is the typical lifestyle. You'll be amply rewarded, but looking for sympathy is seen as a weakness, not a virtue. Best to embrace it now, it could become your reality for the next 50 years.
