Stored my FRS in Winter of 2012-13. Sold my tC which sucked in the snow anyway which was my cheapness in not getting snow tires. Had my baby (FRS) out for the first time last winter and will be out again this winter. I am planning on getting another vehicle after this winter as my student loans will be paid off by March!

If one can afford another vehicle I see it in perfect logic to store this car. It's not how much the car cost or anything. It's depends on the person and how much they want the car exposed to the elements. Personally, I would prefer to keep my FRS out of the elements. I sold my tC for the cash I needed at the time. It's nice only having one vehicle to take care of and pay insurance for. Yet I will be back in business with 2 cars soon enough! The FRS stays under a premium car cover most of the time since it sits outside for right now. It was in a garage for the first 1 and 6 months.

Cars in general are poor investments yet it's how much they mean to the person that owns them. It's not always about their value in terms of money. Here's to another winter! Cheers.
