1. Try to find the front bumper garnish for a normal price (under $200) -I can't find one under $225 + $50 shipping from Japan. It's bothersome to think anybody can swipe it as it's just double sided tape that keeps it in place. Not only to mention it's ridiculously overpriced for a thin piece of black plastic. You'd think somebody would manufacture one of these and make a killing here?!?

2. Use 3M vinyl -never tried it before but how hard could it be for such as small area?

3. Plasti dip -seems easy after masking everything off but is it fairly durable (or do I have to keep touching it up)? I know according to their Youtube videos it's harmless to the paintjob but I read a post where somebody did a Superman logo on their hood with Plastic dip and it left a ghosted image/stain. I don't want to take a chance with the Silver Ignition.

(I know it's my decision but I'm interested in additional opinions)

for option #2 what looks good against silver ignition: flat black, gloss black, black faux carbon fiber or silver faux carbon fiber?

for option #3 flat black or gloss black Plasti Dip?

Thanks in advance!
I would recommend the vinyl over the dip. A fellow 86er friend of mine first did Plasti Dip, but that particular location on vehicle is prone to chips in the dip from road debri/rocks. He was having to touch it up all the time. He later did vinyl after he was tired of touching it up, and it looks great and has no real problems since. He had plenty of vinyl left over so he wrapped the roof too.
