Has anyone removed their front bumper entirely? I tried to a while ago but ran into a problem. Basically, the pop rivets at the bottom corners of the bumper (that is, the ones that attach the sides of the lip to the splash guard and the bumper) are not normal pop rivets. They're completely flat--there is no way to lift up the center section and remove the rivets. Consequently, it seems that to remove the front bumper, you'd either have to drill out and replace those two pop rivets, or remove the entire splash guard with the bumper.

Is this just something unique to my dealership's installation? Is there a way to remove and reuse those pop rivets?
