I will be doing my first track event this sunday. Just wanted to ask couple questions since I pretty much read this whole thread.
My current setup is stock tires and wheels, kw v3's with stock top mounts, whiteline camber bolts, spl rear lower control arms, RBF600 brake fluid, changed my engine oil with motul 8100 0-20 1,000 miles ago also transmission & diff have motul gear 300 about 1,000 miles ago. Everything else is stock except for having a greddy evo 3 exhaust.
1. what would be the tire pressure i should be running? When you guys say for example 36-38psi hot, does this mean go around 3-4 laps come off check tire pressures and go back or what?
2. as a beginner will stock pads be ok with the rbf600 fluid?
3. my kw v3 rebound & compression are set to the stock setting that kw sends them with. Will this be a problem?
4. reading all the stuff about the DI seal issue. Will I have any problems at the track since I havent taken the car to the dealer for this yet or experienced the problem. I'm just wondering if tracking the car will bring up the problem or not and what can I do to prevent it from happening.
