Personally I'd just stick with the recommended weight, I've read threads where track cars run thicker oil due to what their being put through regularly,
But the recommended weight and an oil cooler (to help keep it in normal operating temps and reduce thinning a bit if you're really worried) would be more than what you need for hard street driving, and be fine for even weekend tracking,

M car has 40k KM on it now, and I've never noticed any oil consumption, as for UOA I haven't done any, I forgot to sample during my last oil change or I'd have something for you. There was another thread though where someone did get a UOA for the Amsoil 100% Synthetic and the results were really good.

For comparison I used Amsoil in my VW TDI religiously, (the Germans are very picky about their oils performance) and it ran soooo much smoother, and quieter, you could literally feel and hear the difference Amsoil made in that car, 20k KM change intervals and the engine never skipped a beat,

I just highly recommend amsoil in general, currently using their engine, transmission, and differential fluids 👍
