I live in Gardena and would love to get a meet started someplace close to the area. The big consideration everyone should be thinking about is which cops do you want to potentially be dealing with. In this area there are a few choices with Torrance PD, Gardena PD, and LAPD depending on the location of course. My personal preference is to find an area in the LAPD part of town. The Del Taco on Western falls under that guideline, and the Dennys that used to be there closed down so the lot is wide open all the time.
I can tell you from experience that LAPD rarely comes out for calls related to things of this nature(if someone decides to even call them). Hell I go months without seeing one in my neighborhood, so I know that we can call this location a fairly safe place to not get messed with. The LAPD works out of the Harbor division that is all the way down in San Pedro so they really don't make it out that way too often. Of course as soon as people start revving and driving like speed racer up and down the streets we might get a visit. But trust me LAPD is way better than dealing with the Torrance PD. Those guys can potentially be D!@K$. Just my two cents.
