First off a wideband o2 must be before any cats.

Second you can run the signal from a wide band into the factory ecu (see previous links) but you need a good tuner and ecutek to build in a failsafe.

The stock o2 is pretty good, but it's not perfect.

I have an aem failsafe wired into my ecu.
