To fully utilize Icebreaker, you should be carrying a sniper and shotgun of each type of damage. When you switch to another weapon after allowing IB to fully regenerate ammo, it gives you half of the max ammo capacity of whichever weapon you switch to. This completely eliminates your need for green ammo synthesis.

Yeah I do that in things like nightfall strikes, but honestly 99% of the time I don't have the patience to go menu diving for 12 rounds only to have to go back into the menu 30 seconds later after unloading all the rounds into a boss. Should be easier ways to swap weapons mid-game without pausing.
