Just like how it is in Europe and Asia. Dealerships are usually very small and have only a few cars on in the showroom. You go and literally in and pick out every little option and detail sepreately, like how it should be. Unlike the US where they "package" options for you, because we're stupid. LOL Then you go in and pick the car up when it arrives from the manufacturing plants.

I doubt that we will ever go in that direction here in the US. The dealership network are too powerful to allow that to happen here in the US.
