Because how could you have the sack to walk up to someone and tell them that the car that they tried to get made for years, that they designed for the sole purpose of having fun, is wrong?
Opinions are one thing, but you're going around putting down anyone who would dare to want a car that something other than white with gold wheels (no insulting anyone who likes or has that combo, just making a point).
Yes the RS kit is different than the JDM/EUDM kits. Toyota's allowed to make different kits. I don't agree with some of their pricing, but that's neither here nor there. RS 1.0 is the North American market's special edition, one of many with more to come. There are many different versions of this car. Toyota has been working on developing it.
Tada designed it to a "perky" little car, than can also be used daily (look at that trunk space). But it was also built knowing the owners will want to modify it. I mean it's actively encouraged.
So why do you keep getting up in arms about whether or not a part made by Toyota for this car, is wrong for this car.
Like I said, opinions are one thing, but don't shame people just because you don't agree 100%.
The car itself is a Jack of all trades
-The Griffon
-The Full TRD
-The GT-S Areo
-The Scion 10 series
-The Monogram
-The BRZ Series Blue
-The TRD Retro 86
-The TRA-Kyoto Rocket Bunny FR-S (the one exported to japan that still wears its Scion badge)
-The Bee-R 86 (that first showed us how great yellow looked on these cars)
-The GT86 TRD (UK)
-The Bulletproof Auto FR-S
The list goes on.
The Ultimate beauty of this car (or any for that matter) is that you can go in any direction you want. You get to make it what YOU want it to be. So stop worrying/getting mad at what other people are putting on their cars.
You do You.
We're all fans here.

That gigantic post simply because you read his comment wrong. He said the fact that toyota made the frs is wrong. Because Subaru made it, not toyota. He said nothing about the car being wrong....lol.
