Okay, that helps me understand better. When I had my '13 FR-S and started tracking it after building up some good experience from the past, my brake fluid boiled and stock pads went out pretty quick... And I try to be as easy on them as possible but they still let me down as I was working my way up to the higher run groups.

After I upgraded the brake pads and fluid on my stock FR-S, I had no issues, except for the sliding around on the stock tires but I was okay with that fun! Fyi, I upgraded to Ferodo DS2500 pads and Motul RBF600 fluid... Worked out very well with the stock car and tires. I plan on doing the same with my incoming '15 BRZ as well.
