GT5P is harder to drift in only because they're doing a better job modelling tire effects and weight transfer (on the simulation physics mode, only way to play!). Plus only stock cars. I owned in GT4 but GT5P is much more technical. Oh and clutch-kicking helps in the GT series, I don't remember if you can do it in Forza.

For some reason Forza never felt right to me, I thought it was the controls so I bought a wheel but there is still something weird with their physics...

IMO GT4 physics are way better than Forza, and GT5P physics are way better than GT4.

And GT series only changes physics between arcade mode and the normal game.
