My favorite thing, hands down, is that it's fun to drive. So many of the new cars released are directed in one of two directions--1) look at all the horsepower, and straight line speed, or 2) look at all the neat gadgets this car comes with. But the 86 is genuinely just FUN to drive, not insanely fast, not too many bells and whistles--just fun. And when all of those other douchenozzles do fly-bys in their 400 hp mustangs, i'm still smiling because i'm undoubtedly still enjoying my drive more than they are.
Coming from a previous car with zero aftermarket support, i have to agree that the amount of aftermarket available for this car ensures that you don't get tired of it.
