I'm 68yo. Have owned this 2015 FRS three weeks.

I find myself smiling a lot behind the wheel.

Could it be this things' very similar to driving a crotch rocket ?

Ticket City for sure. I expect a reckless driving citation any day now....

Update: Went on a road today made for 4wd vehicles only. Forded 6 narrow streams with rocks, saw no other cars on that road. Stopped twice to pickup fallen tree limbs, so I could get down the road [note: bring a chain saw next time]. Saw four deer and one turkey. Lots of lst grear driving. Lots of potholes and very loose gravel. Thanks to limited slip diff I made it. Trashed underside of front bumper...big cut...where did I do that...in a parking lot...cement parking stop...with rebar sticking up...drove over it, then backed up...which badly cut open underside of bumper. Very difficult to determine actual front of car from driver's seat on this car. Have driven over these cement things several times...this time the worst.

I got as low as 21 mpg at times today (I keep trying for a low mileage record. note: Keep beating it hard Richard), but overall, after freeway drive home from the mountain drive, now 25.2 mpg for this tank. Overall a good day yet with couple of mishaps. Maybe I should stop playing 4wd with this car ? No way ! This car can do most anything ! And that little Subaru engine just sings, revving on mountain roads.
