That car will be a hassle in CA due to needing to get it smogged. CA has stupid rules about smogging cars. That car would fail hardcore. They also have SUPER strict motor swap rules. The motor has to come from a newer model car that's sold in CA, and include all factory smogging equipment. They impound 240's that are running anything other than KAs. I was gonna drop an SR or RB until I did some research on it.
To me, it's not worth the hassle since I don't have a house with a garage nor a trailer to cart the thing around. I'd rather just get the FRS and be able to drive it wherever, and whenever I want. Otherwise I'd be all over that car. I miss my AE86. Right before I moved to CA I had picked up this:
