I've had a Cosworth panel filter installed for nearly a year and this was my 4th oil change. There's no doubt that the desert environment is at least partially responsible for the elevated silicon level as it's always windy and dusty here in Las Vegas. I've since cleaned it and ordered an AFE dry panel filter which I plan to clean and/or replace more frequently. Thanks for your feedback and I look forward to the next UOA to see if silicon levels improve.
