Another factor in the price of used cars can be location and availability. The laws of supply and demand apply to used cars just like any other item.

Well said. I wish all my customers had this attitude. Everyone thinks that us salesmen make a killing. We don't. A lot of the times, we get payed $100 a car. And most of us don't get a salary. So if we don't sell anything all week, we literally make $0. So keep this in mind when you are out buying a car and realize that we are just trying to make a living too.
