Last night was the first time I was able to test out the new intake and tune. I was able to hit 137 (digital speedo) on a dead straight flat. In my case it was at one in the morning on a rarely used toll road, didn't see another single car for over 20 minutes. There is nothing wrong with driving a car at these speeds when it's safe and prudent to do so. Especially a car like ours that's designed with a low CG and wonderful suspension. People in Germany drive at speeds in excess of 170 MPH daily, during more congested traffic, without issue. The difference is Germans actually follow simple things like staying right unless passing, keeping safe distances and using turn signals. The only problem with driving in America is the other drivers not paying attention, not our cars that were MEANT to be driven like this. You say go to a race track, I say there isn't a track nearby that would EVER allow me to reach these speeds before having to brake for a corner. As a tax payer and someone who frequents the toll road 3 times a week, I pay for these roads. I'll use them how I want to.
Your tax dollars also pay for PRISONS!
