LOL actually name Orochi came from Japanese old mythology. Full name is
Yamata no Orochi (8 headed serpent?). Orochi was suppose to be snake, dragon & thing. I guess, it was relative of Lernaean Hydra who came to Japan
As for the engine, I'm not sure. I'm not expert of Toyota engine at all.
