roling diameter is found from from the aspect ratio so for eg a 225/40R18 has a aspect ratio of 40%
so the wheel height is 2 times 40% of 225mm (since there 2 sidewalls to the diameter) + 18" (but in mm)
so
(2*90)+457.2 = 637.2mm
and measuring across the wheel (ie from front to back rather than up and down) will get rid of the error due to flattening where the tire meets the ground
just a suggestion
As for the Stig, when I first heard about it I just assumed is was Stig Blomqvist (sp???), the old rally driver. I never realized it was a game for ages...
