LOL tire repair.
Problem is you do not know exactly how the tire's been compromised. If it's severed a cord or merely went between them. How many cords were severed, or how much load those cords bear. While sure, you may plug the tire and it may be okay, you're still taking a risk that the tire will fail while driving.
The only 100% sure way to know that a tire will hold up (barring any issues from defects) is to get a new tire. Since it's rather new, you should only need to replace one tire instead of both L/R tires, but that also depends on the treadwear of the opposite tire.
Your call OP. My advice is to just get a new tire/tires, then get road hazard warranty on said tire/tires so you never have to worry about this stuff again.
