I'm fresh out of college with no student loans, got a entry level position in my field of study and bought a 2015 WRB BRZ Premium. Why premium? Because I couldn't justify the extras that would realistically be +$3k out the door (Tax, title, etc included). I wanted my monthly payments to be managable (preapproved at my CU with lowest APR) with my current lifestyle that includes frivilous spending on Electronic Dance Music festivals and my girlfriend.

This is my 3rd car, i had a 1995 Toyota 4Runner in highschool and a 1997 Acura CL 2.2 in college. My CL literally died on me the day I decided to pull the trigger and talk hard numbers at the dealership.

I had the opportunity to buy a lightly modified AP1 s2000, but being my BRZ to be brand new and unmolested, versus new-to-me.

I have fun every time I get in the car and find myself constantly grinning taking corners. Do i wish I had a little instant pep when I put the pedal down like the VTEC i was used to? Sure. Maybe I'll go FI when my warranty is up. *ninja edit* Friends would tell me to go WRX or STI, because turbo AWD, but I've never had a car with power. So any power whatsoever is power to me. My infatuation with this car started 2 years ago, and that was based on looks alone at first.

Everyone tried to push me to go Series.Blue or limited, but in the end I went base BRZ because
1) didn't want to pay extra for things i'd remove/replace (sparing AC/Push to start), 2) not a scion because I'm a brand whore like that
3) I get a very bare canvas to really make unique (or look like 100s of other peoples' cars on here... lol).

In the end, it's your money. This car was well worth mine.
