Hi FR-S fans! I've been lurking in this forum for a long time, basically since the concept was announced. Now I'm planning to buy one so it's time to join the forum and post up.
I live in the San Francisco bay area and I'll be driving this car for sport, as in for the fun of driving. I do regular mountain runs, and plan for some auto-x and track events if I can make time.
All my past "sports" cars have been small and light: CRX, MR2, S2000, Miata. So I'll feel at home in the FR-S.
I do my own maintenance/mods/tuning so I'm looking forward to some good technical discussions on this forum as people get some hands-on experience in the engine bay.
The main reason I'm interested in the FR-S: I love a simple light-weight well-balanced predictable-handling car with potential to raise the limits as I see fit.
Can't wait til I can put one in my garage!
