Oversteer usually means the back of the car turns faster than the front. It sounds like you were going is a straight line and the car just started to drift.
Its hard to explain with my English. The car didnt move to the left without changing direction. it begin turning to the left and it was oversteer IMHO.. the back definitely wanted to overtaking front ...
