Because a car has a few miles/months/even a year on with a lot of power doesn't mean it can handle it. Have they put 75k, 100k, 150k miles on the engine with 600hp and it was still going strong?
They're always good until the day they blow up, which is typically FAR before when they would normally fail. When/if you start seeing engines with tons of power last 5-10 years of daily driving then you can say it can "handle it"
