Cotton long sleeve shirts, a cotton head sock/balaclava, jeans, shoes, cotton socks.
Cotton is cheap, and will briefly protect you from heat, which is why it's common.
Generally speaking, I'll be in jeans and a t-shirt, unless a car has a modified fuel system, in which case I'll be knowing exactly how to get out of the car and make sure the doors are unlocked before I get in...
