We have cars that practically drive themselves these days; the FT-86 was supposed to be a return to the sports car, not another automaton-mobile. Have fun leaving the traction and stability control on while the transmission shifts for you. Maybe you can find someone to press the gas and steer it for you, too.

Because that's what sells it for me, ooh, .1 seconds in a drag race! Gotta sell the Bavarian bruiser and get a tarted up Toyota, it's .1sec faster!
Porsche's PDK and Toyota's automatic transmission have nothing to do with each other. If the FR-S/BRZ were offered with a dual clutch sequential gearbox I wouldn't be having this argument.
