In post #953 I speculated about an FI I4. It would help hold down cost and weight while boosting EPA mileage. A hybrid system would add at least $2K, 200 lbs., reduce load carrying capacity and interior volume plus would burden a performance car with an annoying CVT.

But hey, nobody knows so my guess is a compound turbo 2.5l I4 with M/T standard, A/T optional, 320 hp +/-, 3,200 (for 10 lb./hp) and starting at $62K. Debut at NAIAS in January 2018 for release as a 2019 to mark the 40th anniversary of the US sale of the 1979 Celica Supra.
