hmmmm........the manual for my 2013 FRS shows the position #1 (a 10 amp fuse) in the fuse block under the dash, controls the main body ECU and the outside rear view mirrors.

Yep, it's unlikely that is the problem (because it's a shared fuse with the main body ECU (whatever that is), but I'd check it anyway (a mirror helps ....)
