While we knew that the Airaid intake would provide immediate gains as usual, I wasn't expecting as good of a response as we got to the Tomei setup. While it is often mentioned that the Airaid intake works well with the 210 kit and that one can be added without a change to the tune, I was wondering if the same would be true for the 3" Perrin intake system?
I ask because the Airaid system is too big to fit with the popular mocal oil cooler sandwich plate (the stock filter barely fits), but I haven't seen anyone confirm if the Perrin intake can be added without an update to the tune. Do you know if this is possible? If not then would the car need to be taken in for another dyno tune or could the tune be updated remotely after providing some log data?
