But in all reality, getting rid of that torque dip seems like a good idea. Even if i'm not in the 200whp range. it's all about that butt dyno right?

For 2k, I'd say: Project Mu hc800 pads, Hotchkiss springs, a set of extreme performance street tires, 225/45r17, on some good condition craigslist wheels and finally an OFT tablet. Should be great in balance and right within your budget. For mainly a simple street car, that would be my setup on your budget. Too bad I've been dumping my budget into my MR2 this year
