Respectfully, this is not true. I came from the Mazdaspeed world and those cars are very susceptible to fuel pump issues when running high ethanol mixes.

These problems, such as sticking spill valve and oily build-up in the pump, are very well documented and discussed in threads such as these:

I'm not for a second suggesting that our cars are prone to similar issues, I'm just pointing out what I believe is a factual error in your post.
