I could make more power with just the turbo. The twin-charger is mostly because I have never had a supercharged car before and felt like being different. On top of this, I hated how ugly the engine bays are standard, so I figured if I cover the top of that boxer thing with a big supercharger it helps

Other options were VR38 (my R35 GTR made me fall in love with the VR38), or a V10 from an M5, though both those options were getting into unknown territories with fitment and would have had big complications with engine management.

I am not sure how well it will go yet, but we will see. If nothing else, it is a fun project, and if it causes us any grief we will go back to plain turbo eventually.. Time will tell
