92 is fine, remember that it is essentially an anti-knock rating, so the less octane, the less timing/boost you can run and keep the motor from knocking. The Subaru ECU has some fairly modern anti-knock mitigation code in it that helps keep your car safe. Turbo rebuild intervals can have a lot of factors such as the manufacturer of the turbo, design of the turbo kit and what oil you use, what psi the oil flows through the turbo, how well the drain line is setup, what temps the oil is run at, and how well you are filtering the air entering the turbo. Superchargers are generally just oil filled, so there is less too worry about other than doing the scheduled oil changes on them although the Rotrex kits do cool the supercharger oil. The seals and bearings still wear in them though, so they also will require maintenance/rebuilds. I haven't researched what Vortech or Rotrex's expected intervals are for that.
