It's still dependent on the tire type and size. We've ran 225 EHP tires on 17x9 wheels since EHP tires tend to run much wider than your standard street tire. R-Comps in the 225 size tire can also be much wider than street tires in general. Some sanctions will disapprove of wider wheels than a certain width so just check your organizations in case there are some sort of rules.

The suggestion is 17x9 for the potential to upgrade.
