Well, I did make it down there today - about 1:00. Unfortunately, the way that dock is situated, it's pretty tough to see anything coming off of the boat, or anything "parked" alongside the boat. There are containers between the road and the boat which block your view. I then drove up to the hillside in the background, but you would need a
serious zoom lens - it's further away than it looks. Hopefully someone else has more luck than I did. There was one non-public road which went along the backside of the ship, which I started down until I saw "port vehicles only" signs...didn't feel like getting arrested by Homeland Security.
Pics from today - again, nothing special except for the ship itself. Which I have to admit - it's kind of fun tracking a ship on the internet, then go and see it in person. The internet is crazy!
