Ok the revving issue is when RPMs are below 2,500 rpm, say I'm coming off the highway at 70mph and need to turn down a right angle street. Blip blip blip, all the way down to 3rd gear, clutch in and go to blip to nail 2nd gear and the engine just doesn't want to if I let it get below 2,500. I can hear through the exhaust, it's like a kid trying to imitate a boxer motor with his lips. So I have to force the revs to climb with my foot, instead of a stabbing motion, it's like a rolling motion, heal to toe.
ZA1JA01C-enc_Tuning_VE_91oct_V12.48D.BIN Is the file I'm running. It says 91oct but you said it's 93.
This tune has 4 maps, with increasing throttle aggressiveness. Map 1 is the only map I can use. Map 2 sets the idle rpm to 1,200 and refuses to go any lower. Map 3 shoots the rpms up as if I passed out with my foot on the gas. I basically hit accept on map 3 and the engine starts revving and I have to quickly switch to map 1. Map 4, well I haven't tried it because I'm afraid it's just gonna floor it.
Something funky with the throttle logic is going on. AFR's are perfect according to my wideband. I don't know which is more accurate, the stock sensor or my AEM gauge but it sits around 14.7 while cruising and drops into the low 12's when floored.
The popping seemed to be related to the odd throttle response, it would pop when I let the rpms get too low and I'd try to rev match under 3,500 rpm, think slow traffic.
Also I'm not NA I have the kraftwerks kit.
