Based on my ridealong in a 1.6L NA, <2,300 lbs and >150 horses will be a hoot, my money is on a retuned version of their current 2.0L (155 horses as stated above), with a sacrifice to fuel economy I'm guessing they can hop it up a bit push into high 160's and still match the Toyobaru's fuel economy.
Worth noting that 2.0L already has 150 ft-lbs of torque, if they don't lose that the Miata will certainly give the 86 a run for it's money when it comes to the butt dyno.
