JDL offers two options with their turbo kits "Recirculating & Open Dump"
Recirculating(Quieter then Open dump) just means that instead of the Waste gate just venting the exhaust gases back into the atmosphere it goes back into the exhaust.
Open Dump(Louder then Recirculating) just means that when the waste gate is open it dumps the exhaust gasses into the atmosphere(Think of it like having a hole in your exhaust system).
Recirculating costs more money in this kit, because it requires more fabrication and plumbing, Open dump is normal and doesn't cost more.
EL just means in the terms of the Boxer motor as (Equal Length Exhaust Header runners or Manifold)
UEL stands for (Unequal Length Exhaust Header) People prefer this option over the EL headers because it brings out the "Rumble" that Boxer motors are known for.
