My Car Was Featured by Scion!

Well, I've finally reached a point where I can say I'm content. I've known that Scion does features for people, but never figured I'd be able to get one. Until one day randomly last month, Andrew from Scion shot me a PM here and asked if I'd be down for a feature. Well of course I said yes!

Took some pictures for him, gave him my modlist, and next thing I knew, he emailed me back letting me know my feature was up!

You can check the feature at Scion's website here.

SCION OWNER SPOTLIGHT: ADAM'S EMERALD WRAPPED FR-S
AUG 27, 2014

Adam was drawn to Scion because he loved their outlook on cars and how they should be customized. When he heard the FR-S was going to be released, he knew that he had to have one and he knew it wouldn’t stay stock for long.

Already satisfied with the power and handling of his FR-S, Adam decided to focus on personalizing his car aesthetically. What started by adding small things have snowballed out of control to where it is now.

Doing a majority of the work himself, with the help of some friends from his car clubs, Violent Clique and Jacksonville 86 Club, for more difficult installs. Adam started off with JDM fog lights and Winjet head lights. Shortly after he moved onto larger mods, bringing the car to ground-scraping lows with BC Racing Extreme Drop coilovers and being one of the first with the C-West body kit. Like a cherry on top of a sundae, Identity Design wrapped Adam’s FR-S in an Emerald Pearl wrap, to top off his list of modifications.

When asked what he is most proud of on the car Adam couldn't choose one specific thing but noted the finished product as a whole, saying,“It has taken a lot of time, hard work and stress to get her to where she is now but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.”

In the process of building his FR-S, Adam says he learned that things can go wrong when working on a car, it’s inevitable. He says, “It is what you do when things go wrong, that is what’s important. Always keep your head up and look at the bright side of things.”

Predictably, when asked if his car was finished, Adam mentioned “As much as I’d like to say my car is finished, any car enthusiast knows that your car is never truly done.” Adam is already considering the next phase of his build. Currently, he is debating on something more luxurious or going the aggressive Rocket Bunny route – only time will tell!

Adam would like to thank the following...

"Identity Design/201Wrap for everything they've done to help me get my car to this level. I'd also like to give a big shout out to my buddy Steve Shafer, without him I wouldn't know nearly as much as I do right now. He's always down to help me out when I have questions, and always down to work on things together. And last, but certainly not least, thanks to all my friends and family for supporting me during this wild ride."
