Sorry for the picture quality but just taken with my old iphone.
The difference in height from the OP's picture is certainly visible (at least to me it is). You can really see the difference when you look at the gap between the tires and the wheel wells.
Too give even more perspective (as the pictures don't really reflect the difference that well) the front mudguards are only 1 1/2 inches off the ground.
